Veteran N.C. Probation and Parole Officer Neil Parrisher has joined the staff of 杏巴原创 as director of .

He will be actively involved in setting up the College鈥檚 Basic Law Enforcement Training (BLET) program, as well as providing in-service training for local law enforcement, fire and rescue personnel.

鈥淣eil is going to be a great fit for our program with his background in law enforcement and emergency response,鈥� said Dr. Robbie Taylor, vice president of at 杏巴原创CC.

Parrisher, who spent 16 years working in Probation and Parole, is a native of 杏巴原创 County and former graduate of 杏巴原创 Senior High School. He鈥檚 also an alumnus of 杏巴原创CC, having obtained an associate degree in criminal justice prior to transferring to the University of North Carolina-Pembroke to complete his bachelor鈥檚 degree in the program.
